Toolangi Sculpture Trail 2016 will bring the local community of Toolangi, Yarra Valley and the Kinglake Ranges together through a program of artistic and environmental events that will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the International Sculpture Event UNESCO.

With the beautiful backdrop of Toolangi's Mountain Ash forests, a two week program of activities will unfold that will focus on a professional artist's residency; community sculpture activities; and a schools and youth education program. There will also be opportunities for visitors to participate in environmental art workshops, learn Indigenous weaving, take day and night tours of the forest, and learn about country through Indigenous storytelling, artist and environmentalist talks, and much more! One of the most exciting aspects of all this is the opportunity for everyone to take a guided tour of the trail and directly experience the creation of contemporary art right before their eyes!

These amazing activities are scheduled for 6 – 20 November and we need your help to make it all a reality. Your contribution will provide invaluable support to survivors of the Black Saturday bushfires of 2009 and help to strengthen the communities of the Rivers and Ranges.

Can you help with your time or expertise?
